The Great Lakes Design and Construction EXPO will take place on February 14, 2024, at the Suburban Collection Showplace.  Visiting the exhibit hall and Educational Workshops is FREE. The CAM 138th Annual Meeting and the Economic Forecast Breakfast are ticketed events that require advance registration.

Educational Workshops

There is no cost to attend the Educational Workshops. For planning purposes, we ask that you make your selections during registration.

The Construction Association of Michigan and the Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan have hosted an annual Economic Forecast since 2010. This presentation will address GDP Growth, Inflation, and the Construction Outlook, followed by Q&A.

Advanced registration is required.  Registration includes breakfast, the presentation, and post-meeting presenter meet-and-greet on the EXPO show floor.

CAM 138th Annual Meeting, Keynote

Each CAM member firm is provided with one free pass to the CAM annual meeting. Additional tickets may be purchased for $100 each. Information about utilizing the free pass will be sent via USPS and via email to the company's main point of contact. Online pre-registration is required, and no walk-ins will be allowed.

The 2024 keynote will be delivered by Lindsey Rem, Vice President of Business Transformation at Barton Malow. She will explore what all the AI hype is about and its relevance to construction today and in the future. She will provide real examples and discuss the pros and cons of adopting AI in construction. AI is here, but what does it mean for construction?

The Great Lakes Design and Construction EXPO will be held in Novi at the Suburban Collection Showplace on February 14, 2024. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. Exhibit hall opens at 9:00 a.m.

3. What are the registration rates?

Visiting the EXPO exhibit hall is FREE. There are some additional meetings and educational workshops that may be associated with a fee. Visit our Learn page for more information.

4. Can I make a hotel reservation?

Out of town attendees and exhibitors are encouraged to make a reservation at the Hyatt Place Detroit/Novi, which is conveniently attached to the Suburban Collection Showplace. Book by January 20th with code G-GLD4 for the block rate.
